Former Australian cricketer and Grandstand commentator has bemoaned Australia’s “horrendous sportsmanship” after apparently failing to shake hands with Ross Taylor after the Black Caps batsman was dismissed for 290, ending New Zealand’s innings on day four at the WACA.
Taylor batted for about a day and a half for his record-breaking innings and Nannes said Australia’s lack of appreciation for the knock at its conclusion was “not a good look”.
Despite the series being played in an exceptional spirit thus far, Nannes was not impressed.
